What is the TRX Training System?Trx Training

The TRX was originally created in the Navy SEAL Teams in the late nineties by commandos trying to stay fit while deployed to places where time is of the essence and gyms don't exist. It weighs less than two pounds and folds to the size of a running shoe.

It is non-elastic and uses your own bodyweight as resistance. The difficulty level is completely variable -- from zero to 100% of your bodyweight. Changing the resistance is as simple as taking a couple of steps forward or backward to adjust the angle of your body in relation to the ground. It's called suspension training. In other words, you can either carry around a set of dumbbells that range from one lb to 100+ lbs, or simply throw the TRX in your bag wherever you go!

There are many ways to get fit and become stronger nowadays, you can join a gym or buy some dumbbells and lift at home. This TRX not only does it weigh less and is the size of a pair of running shoes but it’s also works and has a lot of impact on your body too!

I personally dont think people can afford or need to go out and buy techno kinetic machines at home to do a functional training. Many high executive office workers, the elderly and people rehabilitating them self feel the need to go out and buy machines to do home training to improve and increase their flexibility and core muscle strength. However; now we have the TRX it isn’t necessary to buy such expensive equipment or clutter up your home as the TRX is a small, simple and an efficient exercise tool. Although there are many options when buying functional training tools such as the rubber band, fitball or medicine ball, there’s no comparison when we are considering the intensity level for strength, flexibility and core stability. Overall, TRX does a much better job then these tools if you use it well. The TRX uses your whole body weight as suspension training. It’s also much more mobile then fitball, band and medicine ball (unless you have your own gym) therefore much easier to carry!

Furthermore, I would like to stress that it’s been proven that 90% of lower back pain comes from sitting in the office for long hours and poor posture caused by shortened hamstrings that can be cured by exercise! If you want to rid the back pain and slouching muscles, you get on the treadmill right, and work yourself to death? Or you try lifting weights, but do you find it makes the pain worse as you perform the exercises incorrectly? Swimming is the best exercise as it’s low impact but it’s not always the most convenient. This is where the TRX comes in. You can start at any fitness level if you adjust the position of your body correctly. It’s multi-dimensional and fully supports your body weight so you can really work all of your core muscles not only to strengthen them but make muscles longer and more flexible.
